What we check, every time we change a page

Text contrast is measured, not estimated. Every visible text element is checked against the colour actually rendered behind it, at both phone and desktop widths, and we hold a standard of zero failures rather than an average.

Everything works without a mouse. Links, buttons, the menu and the insurance form can all be reached and operated by keyboard, and the focused element is marked with an outline. At phone and desktop sizes we tab through every page, forwards and backwards, and check that the bars at the top and bottom of the screen never hide it.

Touch targets are large enough to hit. Anything you tap is at least 44 by 44 pixels, including links that sit inside a sentence.

Motion can be turned off. If your device is set to reduce motion, the animations here do not run. Nothing is hidden as a result: every element appears in its finished state.

The layout holds from phone to desktop. Pages are checked at widths from a 320-pixel phone to a 1920-pixel desktop display, and nothing is cut off or forces sideways scrolling.

Text reflows when you zoom in. Enlarged text wraps to fit the screen rather than overlapping, and headings are structured so a screen reader can move through a page in order.
Known limits (October 2026)
These are the gaps we know about, and the way around each one.

Very short screens. On a phone held sideways, a focused element can end up partly behind the bars at the top and bottom of the screen. At 400% browser zoom those bars take up about half the screen, a focused element can be hidden behind them entirely, and the open menu cannot show its last two links. Every menu link is also at the bottom of each page.

The top of the homepage. When the homepage first opens with animation on, the menu is hidden, so it cannot be reached by keyboard until the page scrolls. Scrolling brings it back, and every menu link is also at the bottom of the page.

Screens narrower than 320 pixels. On the narrowest phones, such as some folding phones when closed, the Verify Insurance button in the bar at the bottom of the screen is cut off at its right edge. The phone number beside it is not.

Tell us and we will fix it. Call and say what happened and what you were trying to do. You do not need to know the technical reason, and you will never be asked to work around it on your own.
